Wand Care

  • Store gently: Keep dry and out of direct sunlight.

  • Avoid extremes: Do not leave in a hot car, near heaters, or in freezing temperatures

  •  Avoid soaking or prolonged humidity.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft feather duster when possible, or a soft, dry cloth.

  • Natural wood (unsealed):  can use  natural oil on a cloth—test a small spot first.

  • Painted & sealed wands: Skip oils/solvents; just dust gently.

Your wand is crafted to last a lifetime and beyond. A little love and gentle care will keep it with you for years to come.

Energetic Cleansings and Upkeep

Your wand is more than wood and paint—it is a ritual director that holds your  intention, a living tool: keep it clean, charged, and aligned with your work.

When you receive your wand ask it to work with you for your intended purpose, sit quietly with it and make your personal introductions.  Allow the bond to form and the conversation to begin.  You may desire to perform an initial cleansing using traditional methods such as smudging, bells or chant/song.

To keep your wand cleansed and charged, regular rituals might include bathing in moonlight (especially the full moon), solar bathing, placing your wand near crystals or stones of your choosing, or simply placing on your altar.

You may desire to keep it wrapped in a sacred cloth or box just to guard it from daily noise in the environment and keep its energy strong and steady.

Allowing others to handle your wand is a personal choice, but if you feel it needs resetting afterwards just follow the  above or personal tradition to realign it with you.
